2025 marks 27 years of the SURF Awards programme, which celebrates best practice examples of community regeneration projects.

2025 SURF Awards Timeline

5th June 2025

Awards open for applications

1st September 2025

Application period closes at 5pm. Completed applications should be emailed to emma@surf.scot

Late September - Late October

Assessment, shortlisting and site visits by 20 independent judging panel experts. Please note that the judges will specify the day of an in-person visit to shortlisted projects, which will be between the 22nd Sept-22nd Oct.

4th December 2025

Results announced at a celebratory Presentation Dinner in the Voco Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow

2025 SURF Awards Dinner

The 2025 SURF Awards Presentation Dinner will be held on the 4th December at the Voco Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow.

Places are £80 (plus VAT) or £720 (plus VAT) for a table of 10. This includes a welcome reception and 3 course meal.

The Awards will be presented by Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes and this year’s After Dinner Speaker is Actor and Writer Mark Hannah.
