Architecture & Design Scotland are looking for 2 Board Members

Scottish Ministers are currently recruiting two new members to the Board of Architecture & Design Scotland.

Architecture & Design Scotland is committed to creating a Scotland whose places are healthy, sustainable and thriving, where everyone works together to shape their future and has an exciting programme of work to make this happen. Working with partners around the country, A&DS are promoting the benefits of place-based collaboration and seeking to change the way Scotland’s places are created, adapted and sustained.

Their 2021-31 Strategy has more information on how we are going to do this.

Everything from tackling climate change and recovery from the pandemic to the quality of our local schools and healthcare facilities can benefit from design thinking.

They are now looking for people with knowledge of how the built environment can play a part in tackling the climate emergency and how to influence complex systems to achieve lasting change.
