The Carnegie UK Trust are delighted to launch A digital world for all? The new report summarises the findings of the first phase of #NotWithoutMe, digital inclusion programme for vulnerable young people in the UK.
The report features case studies of four year-long pilot projects where local organisations (two in England, one in Scotland and one in Northern Ireland) have worked with different groups of vulnerable young people to build their digital skills. Drawing on the experiences of the pilot projects, the report presents 18 recommendations for practitioners, policy makers and academics.
The full report can be viewed here.
This launch also coincides with Get Online Week 2nd-8th October, the UK’s biggest digital inclusion campaign.
Over the coming months, the Carnegie UK Trust will be building a new programme of activity for #NotWithoutMe phase 2 and look forward to sharing details of this with you.
Carnegie UK Trust would be very happy to speak to you about the report, our findings and the project as a whole. If you have any questions please contact Gina Wilson gina@carnegieuk.org or Anna Grant on anna@carnegieuk.org.
