2026 SURF Awards Timeline
4th June 2026
Awards open for applications
7th September 2026
Application period closes at 5pm. Completed applications should be emailed to emma@surf.scot
Late September - Late October
Assessment, shortlisting and site visits by 20 independent judging panel experts. Please note that the judges will specify the day of an in-person visit to shortlisted projects, which will be between the 22nd Sept-22nd Oct.
10th December 2026
Results announced at a celebratory Presentation Dinner in the Voco Grand Central Hotel, Glasgow
Helpful Tips for Applying
- Please ensure that you download and read the Information Paper as it contains the full criteria for the Award categories.
- Completed applications should be emailed to emma@surf.scot by 5pm on the 7th September 202.
- You can write onto both the Word and PDF versions. Please be conscious of the Word count as it affects the layout of the application form. Too many words will break the form! The Word version contains Latin text for spacing purposes – this can and should be deleted.
- Whilst a single project can only be entered into one category, an organisation/group can enter multiple different projects.
