As the Head of Operations, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team, working closely with the Chief Executive to ensure that Toonspeak’s operations are aligned with its strategic vision.

Reporting to: Chief Executive
Salary: £34,580 per annum, Pro-rata (0.8 contract)
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 28 hours per week with flexibility required, including some evenings and weekends (a 30-minute unpaid lunch break is added to each 7hr day).
Annual Leave: 28 days plus 8 public holidays (pro rata), with 10 days fixed for office closure during Christmas and New Year.
Location: Barmulloch, Glasgow -Hybrid working from our office.

What we’re looking for:

  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience in managing teams and providing leadership within an operational context.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to contribute to high-level decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Operational Management Expertise: Extensive experience in managing day-to-day operations, ensuring quality assurance, compliance, and smooth programme delivery.
  • Financial Oversight: Proficiency in budget management, financial reporting, and overseeing audits.
  • HR and Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with HR processes and legal obligations, including Health and Safety, GDPR, and recruitment policies.
  • Partnership Management: Proven experience in building and maintaining strong partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • CRM and IT Competence: Experience in managing CRM systems and IT infrastructure to ensure efficient operations.
  • Advocacy and Networking: Strong ability to represent the organisation at external events and build networks across sectors.
