Making Things Happen: Funding and Partnerships

How can we achieve the aims and objectives coming from the 2025 survey responses? In this workshop, we will discuss what needs to be in place to enable service improvements and emerging projects to be planned and delivered.

– Partnerships: public, private community sectors
– Funding: fundraising and other ways to raise money

Voluntary Action South Lanarkshire will help us explore the opportunities available for joint working and potential funding to enable the changes the community wants to see, become a reality.

What is an Ideal Community?

What would Larkhall look like in an ideal world? It might sound like pie in the sky! But if we have a vision for our town, we can make plans to achieve this. There are many layers to a sustainable community and we want to identify the key areas of change needed to make Larkhall the best it can be for our families and future generations.

Building Community Through Volunteering

Our community has all the skills needed to support the plans for change we are discussing. Can we achieve the creation of a team of volunteers to support many aspects of the improvements needed?

In this workshop, you will discover what volunteering opportunities are available in Larkhall and the positive impact you can make by giving even a few hours a month.
