IntoUniversity will be launching our local learning centre in Govan in Early May. IntoUniversity is a leading education charity that delivers an innovative programme to raise the aspirations and attainment of young people aged 7-18 who face disadvantage.

In addition to delivering workshops with local Primary and Secondary schools, their centre team will be running a weekly after school Academic Support programme. These sessions will be hosted in their classroom space in Pearce Institute. All provision is carefully assessed to ensure the safety of everyone present and compliance with relevant guidance.

Primary Academic Support (P3-P7):

Students will be able to attend Academic Support on Tuesdays or Wednesdays 3.30-5pm. Students will enjoy a curriculum of activities that seeks to boost their literacy and numeracy skills.

Secondary Academic Support (S1-S6):

Secondary school students will be able to attend on Mondays or Thursdays 4-5.30pm, Academic Support provides an opportunity for secondary school students to get help with their homework, use our laptops and revision resources and receive guidance and support from our trained staff.

It is worth noting that students must meet our referral criteria in order to be eligible to access support.

Parents/guardians of young people should get in touch to register their child for a place, by calling us on 0141 375 9151 or emailing us at govancentre@intouniversity.org. They are open for registration 9.30-6pm Monday to Friday.
