The Scottish Government’s Local Government and Regeneration Committee have produced a YouTube video to promote its gathering of evidence for its scrutiny of the 2014 Community Empowerment (Scotland) Bill.

Featuring Cabinet Secretary for Finance John Swinney and Allan Farmer from Edinburgh-based Whale community arts agency, the video, which follows below, outlines several ways in which members of the public can contribute to the inquiry.

The Committee have also announced public engagement events for the inquiry on Monday 27th October in Easterbrook Hall, Dumfries, and on Monday 24th November in Lochaber High School, Fort William.
