SURF’s Expert Advisory Group met for the first time this week as part of a new strand of our work. While our existing trustees provide wide expertise with their governance responsibilities, the EAG participants bring additional areas to help reflect SURF’s membership’s broad interests.
The EAG has no governance responsibilities but acts as a knowledge base and sounding board to policy developed in relation to community led regeneration.
We have been working on the SURF 2026 Manifesto over the last 5 months through a series of face-to-face discussions with SURF members, and the first meeting of the EAG explored the initial findings. These will be shared with SURF members at events across the spring of this year.
Members include:
- Martin Avila
- Fiona McKenzie
- Anna Leask
- Nick Clark
- Terry Hogg
- Ian Bruce
- Rob Davidson
- Bruce Kiloh
- Gerry McCartney
- Annette Hastings
