Could you help support groups trying to find sustainable new uses for historic building in their communities with advice, grants and social investment?
The AHF has secured funding from Historic Environment Scotland to increase its capacity to deliver projects in Scotland through employing a new Scotland Support Officer.
The new post will support us in the delivery of its objectives and programmes in Scotland. Working as part of the Programmes Team, the post holder will be responsible for managing a caseload of projects within Scotland, assessing and presenting applications, ensuring funding is allocated in accordance with the AHF’s priorities, and liaising with external partners.
This is a full time, salaried post. Flexible working patterns are available, and the person appointed must be comfortable with primarily working from home, as well as regular travel around Scotland and periodic travel to the London office to attend meetings as required.
Initial funding has been secured for three years (Sept 2019 – June 2022), with the potential for the post to be extended if further funding is secured. This role will report to the Scotland Development Manager.
