Earlier today, SURF’s Alliance for Action partner agency the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) launched a new Heritage Enterprise programme. This funding stream offers grants from £100k to £5m to: “support enterprising community organisations to rescue neglected historic buildings and sites and unlock their economic potential”.

Full information on the programme, including recent research and a video clip showing what the agency hopes to achieve with the programme, can be found on the HLF website link below.

The HLF also launched today a start-up grant programme, which provides funding from £3k to £10k for: “anyone who is thinking about creating a new organisation to look after or engage people with heritage, or existing groups taking on new responsibilities for heritage.”
