To apply, please complete the attached application form with details of your proposed project.

Application form VDLF 25-26

Please make sure that your proposal is eligible before submitting. In order to be eligible for funding, any proposal must be for a site(s) that has been on the Scottish Vacant and Derelict Land Register for at least 15 years and must meet one or more of the following Scottish Government regeneration objectives:

  • stimulate economic growth
  • create jobs
  • promote environmental justice and improved quality of life
  • to support communities to flourish and tackle inequalities

Proposed projects must be shaped by the needs and aspirations of local communities. Successful proposals will clearly demonstrate how the project fits into a wider place plan.

Glasgow’s Vacant and Derelict Land register can be found here. If you are unsure whether a site is eligible for funding, then please contact me in the first instance.

Further information on eligibility and links to a list of previous projects can be found in the attached application form. Please note, the Scottish Government has indicated eligibility criteria may be expanded. If updated guidance is received, we will share this with you as soon as possible. In any event, we encourage applicants to contact us to confirm the proposed project is eligible for funding.

All applications should be sent to  pbip@glasgow.gov.uk no later than midday on 7 March 2025. They would hope to inform applicants whether their application is approved by late March, before they submit to the Scottish Government for approval shortly thereafter.
